2012 ECCAI Dissertation Award The 2012 Artificial Intelligence Dissertation Award sponsored by ECCAI, the European Coordinating Committee for Artificial Intelligence, has been awarded to: Tias Guns, KU Leuven for his thesis: "Declarative Pattern Mining using Constraint Programming".
The Selection Committee has decided to award, in addition, an honourable mention to Markus Brill, TU Munich, for his thesis: "Set-Valued Solution Concepts in Social Choice and Game Theory", and to Long Tran-Thanh, University of Southampton, for his thesis "Budget-limited multi-armed bandits".
